Elected and appointed to a number of different positions within the Whitman-Walker Clinic, the largest non-profit gay and lesbian health organization in the world and one of the largest AIDS service organizations.  Assisted with oversight, quality and fundraising functions across the board of this $15 million annual budget organization.
 
White House National Meeting on AIDS

Participated in the National meeting on AIDS at the invitation of the President.  Worked with the Primary Health Care sub-committee to draft recommendations on dealing with the AIDS crisis for President Clinton.

Appointed by the Mayor of the District of Columbia for an 18 month term on his advisory committee on persons with disabilities.  Active on the Legislative Analysis and Special Events Subcommittees.

Worked with the Fundraising Committee and assisted with the preparation and execution of various actions dealing with the Aids Crisis.  Participated in actions in Atlanta, New York, at the White House and throughout the metropolitan area.  Media interviews with CBS, ABC, FOX and many local and national newspapers, magazines and radio stations.
